Snowy Winter Blog Hop

Good Morning All,
Welcome to the Snowy Winter Blog Hop!! If your hopping over from Cheryl's Blog then you are in the right place if not hop on over to Dorcas' Blog and get started from the beginning. Remember to leave a comment on every stop along the way to win some amazing candy!!!

My project for you all today is interchangeable place cards, I got this super cleaver idea from Katie. I made these adorable place cards for our Christmas dinner table. My girls love to make these for every occasion by hand so I decided to make some this year we can save and use again for every season. All you have to do is change out the tag and they can be used for a family dinner, Thanksgiving or any other special day. I attached two magnets on the back of the tag and two on the card. For my place cards I wrote the names on myself. I used my brand new cartridges Winter Frolic and Simply Charmed. For the tag cut at 2 3/4", the angel and snowman cut 2 1/2", I used Winter Frolic and for the ornaments and penguins cut at 3" I used Simply Charmed. Wow, do I love both of these cartridges, they are for sure must haves!! For the base of the place card I cut a piece of Recollections Kraft Cart Stock at 5 1/2" x 4" and scored it at 2 3/4". The Recollections white card stock layer was cut at 2 1/2" x 3 3/4", then the pattern green strip was cut at 1 1/4" x 3 3/4". The pattern paper I used was the Homemade Christmas Stack by DCWV. I also added some glitter, gems and stitching to complete my tags.
Picture of how I did the magnets to make the tag interchangeable.

Sorry, I had a really hard time photographing these tags. It wanted to focus on the glitter paper.

I used Everyday Face's By Peachy Keen. I so wished I had Princess faces or the Happy Lashes but I made do.

Now for some yummy blog candy. I am giving away the Christmas Cards Cartridge. To win all you have to do is leave a comment on this post and a way for me to contact you. I will announce the winner Monday Morning the 6th.
Here's the line up if you get lost along the way!
Dorcas at 4craftyangels

Now hop on over to Carri's Blog  to see what she has created for you all today!!! Remember if you get lost along the way you can always go and start back at Dorcas' Blog!! Thanks for hopping with all of us today and I hope you got some inspiration along the way!!

I like how the magnet is incorporated with the Christmas Card. Now who ever receives the card not only gets a Christmas card but a magnet as well for the fridge.
