So Excited & A Messed Up Card!!

I am so excited to finally be able to share with you all, Robyn My Pink Stamper asked me to join her Design team again!! I was so honored when she emailed me last week to ask! I am so excited to be able to work along side the new design team, Robyn really picked an amazing crafty bunch of girls!! Look for our first projects next Friday, a blog hop and a get to know the Pink Designers!!! I can not wait! Robyn has a lot of fun stuff in store for all of us.

So, I was going to share this card with you last week. I made it when I was spending the day crafting with Dorcas but I had forgot to stamp the sentiment. Well, I decided to finish it the other day but I messed it up. When I was stamping my sentiment the ribbon was in the way so it did not stamp even so I had to restamp it. I was so bummed because I love how this card turned out and I LOVE the ribbon and colors. So I decided I would share it with you anyway, just ignore the way I messed up the sentiment. The sentiment I did use was from Robyn, My Pink Stamper, It was perfect until I messed it up. I am going to have to remake it.

I can't tell you how many cards I've messed up in the exact same way. But I found a quick solution that *usually* works for me. I stamp on a separate piece of paper, either the same as the original or something coordinating. And then use some pop-dots to place it over the original. You can still see the original ink if you look closely under the second paper, but if you place the pop-dots right, you can cover the part that is messed up and it just looks like it was meant to be that way. It's hard to explain, I hope I didn't confuse you too much.

It is still so pretty! I have done the same thing and cover it with a tag!

Congrats on the DT with MPS!

Congratulations!

I guess I do what everyone else does - cover it with a tag and pop dots...LOL I think it actually works with this card though...snowflakes have a way of landing on an eyelash and making things blurry - or landing on something you've just written....

Great Job...

Awww... it's still gorgeous! I AM SO EXCITED TO BE A DESIGN TEAMMATE WITH YOU! I just love you. Can I say that!?! :) I love this card anyway - as Robyn says, "if you wanted it perfect, you could buy it in the store". It still oozes love. :) And I share things that are imperfect all the time! :)

HUGS!

Don't you just hate it when that happens? It's a beautiful card, even with the little "oops".

Congratulations from a fellow DT member. It will be fun working with you!
