The Queen's Royal Court Blog Hop - A-Manda Creation

Welcome everyone to The Queen's Royal Court Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from The Queen's blog then you are on the right track, if not head there to start from the beginning.

Everyday this week we are featuring A-Manda Creation, if you have not heard about this website yet you are for sure missing out!!! Amanda designs and sells her amazing digital kits. So this week we will be showing you what else you can do with these fun digital kits beside the normal digital scrapbooking. Though I did make two digital layout to share with you this week because I have never tried digital scrapbooking and was excited to try it.

For my project today I created super cute t-shirts for my nephews and a tank top for Autumn. I got this fun idea after seeing Amanda's super cut tank top she made. I purchased some t-shirt ink jet transfer paper, t-shirts and a tank top from Walmart. I then designed a few cute images from the kit Amanda donated, Puddle Jumper. Arranged them with Adobe Photoshop, then printed them with my printer on the iron on transfer paper. Then transferred them to the t-shirts by ironing them on and following the directions on the package of the paper.

I added a cute ribbon and button to make this little tank top more girlie.

Oh nooooooooooo! Cristi strikes again!! Strikes right to my heart. A while ago, I think also on another of The Queen's hops, you introduced me to Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker papers ... and not only was I lucky enough to win your blog candy (a ton of NSS papers!, THANK YOU SO MUCH), BUT I have since spent a small fortune on NSS papers and LOVE them. (Can't stand it ... I am such an addict ... her new lines? To DIE for!) Anywhooooo...

NOW you have introduced me to A-Manda Creation. BAM! Over the moon. I visited her store ... not only visited, but here it is, 5 in the morning Eastern time, and I already bought 4 kits (all of them from the Sweet Monkey line). So I'd tell you which line I'd like to win, but honestly, I stopped looking there. TOO easy to shop, spend and download -- amazingly easy. I've never tried digi-scrapping before either, but THEN I remembered your tees ..... owwwww, back over the moon...

So as soon as the sun comes up, I'm off to find some cute little tank tops like you made for Autumn ... add the ruffles like you did when you were with Alex (You Had Me At Craft) ... and another day (and my savings!) shot to H*L-L.

Oh, Cristi ... you are SUCH an enabler. I don't know what I'm going to do with you. (What I'd LOVE to do is to craft with you!!) I am going to have to turn you into the Papercrafting Anonymous police, because your work, your site, is tooooooo darn sweet. Oh man, now my blood sugar is up, time for more insulin ... too many cupcakes .... aaaaarrrghhhhh.

Next step in my 12: "I am an addict and I cannot control my purchases of digis when it comes to making things with monkeys for my granddaughter Charlotte...."

Oh, I feel so much better now...

Keep up the (DARN!) good work!

Fondly,
Ellen ♥ CardMonkey
