My Pink Stamper Pink-alicious Blog Hop - February

Hi everyone, It is time for another fun Pinkalicious Blog Hop! If you are coming from my sweet friend Courtney's Blog, you are right on track. If you are just coming across this post on your own, be sure to start at My Pink Stamper’s blog so that you don’t miss out on anything. Once you’ve visited all of the FABULOUS blogs along the way, be sure to head back over to My Pink Stamper’s blog to join in on the challenge.

Tonight our theme for our project is: Use the color red, a circle, a pink ribbon, MORE THAN ONE  My Pink Stamper stamp and your Cricut. Create a card, scrapbook page or home decor item. I had so much fun creating these sweet little cards. My plan was to create 4 different designs and then recreate 6 more sets for my children's teachers for Valentines Day, so they would each have a little set of cards. But that idea got put on the back burner for preparation for my sister in laws wedding this weekend (be on the look out for fun wedding related posts). So I sat down and at least created 2 different designs to share with you tonight. Then next week Monday and Tuesday guess what I will be doing?? Yes, you guessed right making 20 more cards, oh and making treat bags for my children's classmates, unless they let me go the easy route.

So on to how I created these cards, I welded the bases for my cards using my gypsy to create two 3"x3" cards. I added some cute ribbon, stitching with my white Sukera gel pen,  a few cuts from my Cricut and of course 2 different stamps from My Pink Stamper.

  • For the Base 3"x3" - Kate's ABC's Cricut Cartridge
  • 1st Layer - 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"
  • 2nd Layer - 3 x 3"
  • Circle cut at 1 1/2" & top layer Circle cut at 1 1/4"  - Create a Critter
  • Heart cut at 3/4" - Hoot 'n' Holler
  • Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folder
  • Ink - Stampin Up Basic Black & Regal Rose for Inking Edges
  • Paper- Kraft Card Stock by Recollections & Pattern Paper by Nikki Sivilas
  • Stamp - My Pink Stamper Sweetest Cupcake

  • For the Base 4"x 4" - Nate's ABC's Cricut Cartridge
  • 1st Layer - 1 1/4" x 3 1/2"
  • 2nd Layer - 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"
  • 3rd Layer - 3"x 3"
  • Circle cut at 1 1/2" & top layer Circle cut at 1 1/4"  - Create a Critter
  • Candy cut at 3/4" - Simply Charmed
  • Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folder
  • Twine
  • Ink - Stampin Up Basic Black & Regal Rose for Inking Edges
  • Paper- Kraft Card Stock by Recollections & Pattern Paper by Nikki Sivilas

These are cute. What size did you cut the base layer? I noticed that the squares were cut larger than 3x3.
