Hi My Crafty Friends, I am sorry for being so late today with my Scrappy Moms Terrifically Tuesday Challenge project!! I have a very good excuse, I promise...... my kids have been very sick and our power went out last night so I could not finish my project or take pictures. What a day it was yesterday!!!!
So our challenge this week is called "Out of the Box" and we are to use the Sweet Tooth Boxes Cartridge. If you do not have that cartridge, just make any kind of 3D treat box. I was so excited to try this cartridge out since I have not been brave enough to break it out myself an cut anything. Yes, you read that right, I am scared sometime to use cartridges.
So for my project today I got really brave and even decided to alter the top of the box on pg.54 using my gypsy. I welded the tulip image from Create a Critter Cartridge and adding two very small holes next to each other to create holes to string my ribbon from George Cartridge. Then on the inside of the box I used the hide couture feature to hide the circles that existed, then welded 6 - 1.6" circles from George Cartridge on the inside to hold K Cups. I also used the stamp sentiment "Love You..." from Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set.
Hope that you enjoy stopping by little blog today and be sure to check out the other Scrappy Moms Creations and join in the challenge!! We would all love to see your what you create. Head on over to the Scrappy Moms Blog by clicking HERE.
